Hotels in Kraków #

EuroPython 2026 doesn't have an official hotel partner, but Kraków has a wide range of accommodation options at all price points.

Finding accommodation

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially if you plan to arrive before the conference for tutorials (13–14 July) or stay on for sprints (18–19 July).

The ICE Kraków Congress Centre is at Marii Konopnickiej 17, directly opposite Wawel Castle. Good areas to stay include:

  • Old Town (Stare Miasto) — 10–15 minute walk to the venue, great for sightseeing
  • Kazimierz — historic neighbourhood, vibrant restaurants and bars, 20 min walk or short tram ride
  • Grzegórzki / Podgórze — close to the venue, quieter residential areas

Hotel and accommodation details, including any special EuroPython discount codes, will be announced closer to the conference. Check back here for updates.

Getting around

Kraków has excellent public transport (trams and buses). The MPK Kraków network connects the airport, train station, and all major areas. A single ticket covers all journeys within a time window — buy them from machines at stops or via the MPK app.

The city centre is very walkable, and most conference venues and social events will be easily reachable on foot or by tram.
